1. When is it okay to bring a girl home for the holidays? How do you know when she’s passed the family test?
I think if you have to think about it, it’s probably not the right time. Anytime I’ve brought a girl home (all of two times) it was a no-brainer because I actually wanted the chick there. Both girls that have met my family have been approved, but it wasn’t with sparks flying (probably why I'm not with either female now). I'm a believer in the idea that when you find the one you’re going to be with forever, everything will be easy and fall into place. That being said, I know I’ll have a good one when my family likes her just as much as I do.
2. How serious is it when you take a girl home to meet your family?
I don’t bring just any girl home to meet the family (see above answer), so when I do it’s pretty serious to me. Not in an “oh we’re going to get married” kind of way, but more in an “oh I actually like this girl" kind of way.
3. Do you expect girls to be able to cook Thanksgiving dinner?
I don’t expect women to do anything cause my momma raised me right. Now, do I find a girl who can cook a full Thanksgiving meal attractive? Hell yeah. And is that something that may peak my interest in a potential future wife? Absolutely. But am I about to dump some incredible girl because she failed to cook a turkey in an oven? No way.
4. On a scale of 1-10, how much do you hate it when your girlfriend drags you out to Black Friday?
I wish I could say 1,000. Unless your boo thing actually finds pleasure in spending a day in my worst nightmare, then go ahead and go shopping on Black Friday. But if you have to force him to go with you, I promise you he hates it. Just because he’s with you doesn’t make it any less painful.
