4 Ways to be Active Without a Gym Membership

I don't know about you, but when I go on Insta nowadays, I always see pictures of people working out in the gym. And while working out in the gym is great, it's also really expensive to do. Hence how this Wellness Wednesday came to be! Below are four different ways to be active while being smart about saving your dough.



1. Go on a run (or jog, let's be real)


Start out slow and then build up to running faster and longer. Remember, increase your distance and speed slowly. This is important for everybody, but especially important for those who are just getting into running for the first time or who are just starting to run after having taken a long break. While running is good for your body, you can hurt yourself by taking things too quickly.




2. Try out some workout apps


Download a few and see what works best for you! Some of my favorites include




3. Check out some workout videos on YouTube

4. Take a look at our previous Wellness Wednesday post about 5 minute workouts


All of the workout moves can be done without any formal workout equipment (you may need a chair or floor mat though).
