How To: Sexy Gore

Sexy gore is in and I’m here to show you gals how its done! This sure-to-impress look is perfect for any spooky season celebrations you may have coming up, and the best part is it’s so easy. Whether you’re a beginner in makeup or looking for a last minute costume, this look is for you!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

*Your makeup (already easy!)

*Liquid latex

* Large teddy bear

*Scissors

*Tape

*Fake blood (optional)

STEP 1: Moisturize and Prime!

Don’t underestimate the power of a good moisturizer and primer combo. I start every makeup look with Olay Total Effects 7 in 1 moisturizer followed by a priming combo of Loreal Studio Secrets Primer and Becca Illuminating Photo Finish Primer.

STEP 2: Make your eyes sparkle!

The eyes are what make it sexy gore so this is one of the most important steps! I used Urban Decay Naked Cherry eye shadow palette to create my intense pink smokey eye. I used tape to create a sharp look and then lined my eyes with Maybelline liquid liner. I finished my eye look with Better Than Sex mascara by Too Faced.

STEP 3: Put on your face!

Ladies, I told you this was easy! I just did my everyday face routine using Tarte Clay Foundation, Hoola bronzer in the shade light, and NARS blush in the shade orgasmic.

STEP 4: Kill the teddy :/

Time for the gore! Taking your large teddy bear in one hand and your scissors in the other, cut the head of the bear off, and then cut the bears face right down the middle. Warning: there will be fluff EVERYWHERE.

STEP 5: Put on your teddy face!

Pick out your good side (we all know we have one and which side it is) and then place the liquid latex on the other. A little goes a long way! Line the teddy bear head up with the middle of your face and press against until it adheres.

STEP 6: Gore it up!

If you want to step it up and really go for it add some fake blood. But trust me, its scary enough without it! I gave my mom a good scare with it on my trial run (sorry mom).
