You just finished that hour long hot yoga class. You feel your body depleted and begging for fuel. Your brain starts running back and forth on what you want to satisfy your body with. Then it hits you, that smoothie bar down the road with the açaí bowls. Not thinking twice you race to the bar, in those yoga pants, to grab that delicious bowl of goodness.

One of the most acceptable places to go with those post-workout leggings is into a smoothie bar. Health nuts of all sizes and backgrounds thrive in healthy food environments and are welcoming to those workout outfits.


Açaí has shown popular growth in these healthy food cafes and restaurants in recent years. While they have been around forever, the global demand this strange sounding word is continuing to increase.


What is Açaí? Açaí berries grow from a South American palm trees. They are kind of a mixture of a blueberry and a grape...and hold a ton of nutrients. Antioxidants, omega-3's, fiber, and calcium are the great micronutrients offered when you eat this famous berry.
