Happy Thursday Threads everyone! We hope you had a spooky evening yesterday and got your Halloween on. Here's what some of us wore to celebrate!

Martha

That's right. I'm an alligator. With Steve Irwin. We're dorks.

I couldn't find a really great alligator costume online in my budget, so I made my own using a bed foam topper, some ribbon, a bouncy ball, green spray paint, a glue gun, and a little imagination! Oh and I have a tail, it's just hard to see it with the photo angles I got.

Moral of the story: if there's a costume you really want to do, but you can't afford a premade one, don't be afraid to use the opportunity to get those creative juices flowing!

NO I AM NOT MOTHER NATURE. Hint: my friends and I channeled Gotham City. If that doesn't give it away, I'm Poison Ivy.

My friends and I decided to do a group costume for the contest at this party, and we came in second! Our characters from left to right: The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Batman, The Joker, and Harley Quinn.

Us two girls have homemade costumes. We spent a LOT of time (and a decent amount of money) on everything we needed, including makeup. I would recommend planning far ahead if you decide to make your own costume! It takes TIME.

To be a deer...well...pretty easy! All you need is a simple brown (or black) dress and a little skill with makeup! This outfit was fun to put together because I love going into a makeup look with an artistic approach.

Makeup Look

Foundation for overall face.

Bronzer (layers of it) on the cheeks to get that deer shaped looking face.

White eyeliner on cheeks to give freckles.

A brown smokey eye.

Winged eyeliner.

Pencil eyeliner for the nose and outline.

Last minute Halloween approved and can be a couple costume if your partner wants to be the hunter!
